Let’s say, you come to work and the atmosphere is strange. Everyone seems like there is something wrong. Than you start feeling wrong and the next thing is, you are talking to your wife saying: Something is really weird here today… That becomes REAL for that moment in time, although there is no real proof, reason that you know about or anything else that will suggest that weirdness. It is just a perception but it plays into reality.

Matrix

I remember many times when I was going to the grocery store how on some days everyone is somehow uplifted and happy. Usually those days are happy for myself too but there is nothing that actually happened that made things happy or uplifted. It was just a mood of the day or a perception of happiness without a cause…

Now, if that is possible, who is to say that the intentional behavior couldn’t result into a perception of the moment, day or even a week? And if that is true, than it’s also true that we can create our own reality just by creating or provoking our own perception. We can go as far as creating our ambient or even recreate our past the way we would want it to have happened. That way we can maybe recreate the present and become what we always wanted to be. Now, if that is all possible… What is reality really?

For all we know it could be created for us using suggestion, pictures, movies, commercials, music, colors… How do we know if these perceptions are really ours or if they are just planted there to make us believe that we are what we are seeing ourselves that we are? In the end we are not even sure if we are humans or some test subjects in some little glass bowls…

That is why I suggest that we should maybe create our own World the way we think it would work for us and than hope for the best. After all it is the only thing we can do. Maybe try and be kind to each others – can’t hurt. One thing is for sure: if you believe in something it is the best truth that you can come up with. Careful though. If you overdo it it could push you over the line and I am not sure what is there, beyond the line…

Reality - Perception
